Nooshin Mohtashami

Nooshin is a problem solver by nature, computer engineer by training and an entrepreneur by practice. Her passion is to empower kids and adults to build a better future by creating a sustainable life style and she understands the importance of STEAM in every day life to bring this vision to reality. Nooshin runs her own tech company, is advisor to various Toronto startups, is a mentor to young entrepreneurs and is the Engineer in Residence at a local TDSB high school, enhancing the STEAM experience and curriculum. She has also taught math (college level), programming, web development and web design to adults at University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies and George Brown College. She was first to bring the “Minecraft Kids Club” in Toronto for kids aged 4-11 and ran it for over 2 years before it became too big for one person to handle. (She’s now ready to step kids learning about science technology and engineering up a notch).
